The last "Ran Talk" introduced the food culture of the Sri Lankan community in Hong Kong and two important festivals - Full Moon Festival and Vesak Day. I believe you have a better understanding of Sri Lankan culture besides "Sirong Black Tea" . Today we are going to talk about other cultural topics about Sri Lanka. First of all, the local way of greeting is to put your hands together, forearms are almost horizontal, and say "Ayubowan" to each other, which means "long life to you" in Sinhala, one of Sri Lanka's official languages. Some people say that taking longevity as a daily blessing shows the traditional Sri Lankan culture's emphasis on life, and doing good deeds and respecting nature is also the content of school education. There is a temple on the top of the mountain, and there is a huge 1.8-meter-long footprint on a rock inside. Different religions regard this place as a holy place. Buddhists believe that the footprints belong to Sakyamuni, Hindus believe that they belong to Shiva, and Muslims and Christians believe that it is Adam's first step on earth after being expelled from the Garden of Eden, and some people believe that it is Jesus Ten.
